Tony Mendioroz

I am Tony, a Sr. UX/UI Designer in Austin, Texas. My design career started with Architecture and in 2012, I took a leap of faith by joining a start-up in Austin as a web designer. I dabbled in front end dev work for a bit but wanted more. The architect in me wanted to dive deeper and solve problems, to create experiences, and understand users. I strategically traversed the trail to UX.

I have worked with all kinds of people, companies, and teams. I've worn many hats at start-ups and have been a specialized member of a large organization. Regardless of the company size, organization, or market position, I love solving problems in creative ways. I am a curious collaborator and a facilitator who loves to teach and mentor. As a design leader, I challenge teams to go from good to great and I delight in helping individuals flourish. I lead by example and do what it takes to get work done, regardless of my role or title.

When I am not solving problems through design, I am searching for the best tacos and BBQ in town. I can also be found out on Lake Travis with my family and friends, or designing t-shirts.
